12月3日，移民局网站发出公告：即日起，在加拿大境内提交的学签、工签、Visitor Record等申请都要进行生物信息采集，具体的生物识别信息可能包括：指纹识别、面部识别、掌形识别、虹膜识别、视网膜扫描等。今天小编就来说一下移民局的最新要求。
先来看一下移民局官网相关通知的截图：
并且列明以下的在加拿大境内提交的申请都需要进行生物信息采集：
- visitor visa
- 学签或工签
- 永久居民申请
- 难民或庇护
- visitor record
- 学签或工签续期
如果你是需要提供生物信息的申请人，特别是申请Visitor Visa，工签或学签，必须在提交相关申请的同时，把生物信息一并提交。
但是如果申请人在过去10年内，在申请Visitor Visa、工签或学签时提交了生物信息，并且上述签证还有效，那么在进行新的申请时，并不需要再次进行生物信息采集。因此，在以上申请中提供一次生物信息的有效期为10年。
若是提交加拿大永久居民申请，即使在之前申请学签或工签等时已经提交过生物信息，都要再次进行生物信息采集。
但如属于以下人群，则不需要进行生物信息采集：
- 加拿大公民或持永久居民身份人士
- 持有效电子旅行证(eTA)来加拿大旅游的免签证国家的公民
- 年龄少于14岁的儿童及年龄超过79岁的长者
- 国家首领、内阁大臣等
- 来自其他国家及联合国，且因公务前往加拿大的内阁成员和经认可的外交官
- 美国签证持有者经加拿大转机
- 已经提供了生物识别信息的难民申请学签或工签
- 已经为申请永久居民提供了生物识别信息，该申请尚在审理过程中申请小签

生物信息采集的步骤：
Step1：付费
（个人申请费用为$85加币；多个家庭成员同时申请最高费用为$170；3人或以上及表演团体申请工签，最高费用为$225），并且必须在提交申请时缴费，否则申请的审理将会被延迟；
Step2：收到确认信
当申请人付费后，将会收到确认信并且告知将可以进行生物信息采集的地点。根据确认信，选择采集地点，并在进行网上预约。
Step3：前往指定的生物信息采集地点
必须是申请人本人亲自前往，并记得带同确认信以及有效的护照。为了达到最好的生物信息采集效果，申请人最好不要有美甲，手指损伤，刮痕等；须穿鲜艳的衣服；整个面部五官需清晰可见。
